The walkway is being constructed using donations in memory of Mark Steinmetz and Jared Hess. The boardwalk allows a better viewing of the fen and the wildlife that it contains. A railing will be installed using cables instead of boards for better viewing. A ramp will also be constructed allowing wheelchair access.
