Prayer time for men
Beginning Tuesday, September 7, there will be a weekly men’s prayer time from 6:00 to 6:30 a.m. (yes, that is in the morning!) in the fellowship hall. With this different time slot, we hope to provide an opportunity for prayer and reflection for those whose schedule has more flexibility in the early morning. For the first morning, there will be donuts and coffee. Please contact Lamar Nisly with any questions.
Sept. 12: After church, Potato bar meal for the congregation before
the annual meeting.
Sept. 12 4-7:00pm Brazo en Brazo fiesta at Lima Mennonite Church. MYF helping with activities there. If any youth need a ride, contact one of the sponsors.
Sept. 19: Salsa making with Donna! Bring a packed lunch, and we will
get started as soon as we can after church.
Sept. 26: Arrive at the church at 5:15 PM to help with the Penny Carnival.
Are you missing dishes? There are currently several dishes sitting around the church kitchen. If you believe they belong to you come down and take a look.

DUE DATE!
Our Annual Church Business Meeting will be held Sunday afternoon, September 12, after the youth fundraiser meal. All members are encouraged to make this a priority in their schedule. Reports for the Annual Report Booklet are due in the church office by Wednesday, September 1. It is best if you can email your report to Charlene at gmc_bluffton.edu. If emailing is not a possibility, a written or typed copy is also OK.
The first adult choir rehearsal will be Wednesday, September 1 at 7:30 PM. We would like to invite new people to join us!
Children's choirs will begin at 9 AM, Sunday, September 5. Jenny Fish will again direct the Cherubic Choir (K - 2nd Grades), who will meet in the large center room across from the Men's restroom. Carolyn McDaniel will again direct the Grace Notes Choir (3rd - 6th Grades), who will meet in the fellowship hall.
