Dennis Schmidt
PASTOR
Dennis Schmidt began as pastor here at Grace Mennonite on March 15, 2009. He moved from Berne, Indiana where he served over 8 years on the pastoral staff of First Mennonite Church of Berne. He previously served pastorates at Oak Grove Mennonite Church in Smithville, Ohio, and Alexanderwohl Mennonite near Goessel, Kansas. He has also served as a missionary to Zaire (Congo) and was a high school social studies teacher.
Dennis was ordained to the ministry in 1991 and graduated from Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Indiana and Bethel College in North Newton Kansas. He and his wife Dianne have three children ranging in age from 18-25.
He enjoys reading, travelling and bicycling.
Charlene McCoy
SECRETARY
Charlene McCoy started working for Grace in May of 2007. Prior to working for Grace she was employed at a residential appraisal firm and attended small business management courses through Owens Community College.
Charlene met her husband, Brandon, while attending high school. They married in 2005 at Ebenezer Mennonite Church in Bluffton, Ohio. Brandon currently works as a heavy equipment operator and is on the Riley Township Volunteer Fire Department.
