Worship
Of course, an important part of our weekly nurture as a people of God comes through our worship services in which we worship the God that we serve and seek to hear Gods word for us. Through songs, prayer, scripture, preaching and drama, we are nourished and knit together each Sunday for service in the week ahead. You are welcome to join us each Sunday morning in the sanctuary.
Missional Teams
A more recent development in our congregation is the work of missional teams. These teams are formed when a person or group of people have a vision for missional outreach. They put their idea into a proposal that is made to our elders for our congregations blessing and support. The missional teams are then released for ministry in projects such as our annual soccer camp.
Adult
Activities
Mary Martha Society
Much of our mission as a congregation happens through the diligent work of the Mary Martha Society. These women of various ages gather to knot comforters, sew school kits and health kits, and fellowship together. For more information about schedule, please refer to our church calendar.
Sunday School
As life long learners on a journey of faith, we value adult Sunday school education. We currently have 6 adult Sunday School classes for young adults through elderly. These classes meet on a weekly basis at 9:15am (Check the home page for variations in summer schedule) each Sunday and participate in a variety of study options. For more information about these classes and their make-up, please contact the church office. Our pre-Sunday School greeters can assist you in finding the location of the class that you would like to visit.
Gleaning
Based on the Biblical principle of going into the fields after the harvest to collect that which was left behind for the poor, many of the farmers of our congregation open up their fields once a week over the summer for members of the congregation to gather the remaining harvest. This produce is then donated to local soup kitchens and food banks. For more information about schedule, please refer to our church calendar or call the church office.
Adult Choir
Our congregation continues to value the musical gifts of our congregation through our Adult choir. We welcome high school age and older to participate in the adult choir which meets on Wednesday nights to learn and practice music for our Sunday morning worship services.
